Frequently asked questions

What CoinLobster tracks, what free gets you, and how Pro differs. Short answers, no fluff.

What is CoinLobster?
CoinLobster is a real-time crypto whale tracking platform. It shows you what big players (whales) are buying and selling across 15 exchanges and on-chain DEXs, in real time as each trade executes.
What is a whale in crypto?
A "whale" is someone who trades very large amounts, usually $100,000 or more in a single trade. When whales buy or sell, they can move prices. CoinLobster tracks these big trades in real-time so you can see what they're doing.
How does CoinLobster help me make money?
CoinLobster shows you what large traders are doing right now: which coins they are buying and selling, where prices differ between platforms, and which coins are seeing unusual flow against their own recent history. What you do with that is your call. Pro adds the whole history and what price did after each move.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
A free account gives you the whale feed live on every coin with the last 12 hours behind it, BTC/USD live in the terminal, on-chain DEX whales above $250K, and 1 custom alert. Free alert email is 1 a day, sent an hour after the trade. Pro ($29/month) opens the whole whale history, what price did after each move, every streamed coin in the terminal, 20 custom alerts (exchanges and on-chain) emailed the moment they fire, the full on-chain feed down to $25K swaps on Base and Arbitrum ($100K on Ethereum), trading signals and sound notifications. Without an account the whale feed is a snapshot that updates every 30 minutes.
Is there a free trial? Do I need a card?
Yes, and no card. Every new account opens with 7 days of full Pro, free. The clock starts the moment you sign up and the days left are shown in the header the whole time. When it ends you drop to the Free plan, still with nothing charged because there is no card on file. You upgrade whenever you decide to, from the Account or Pricing page.
Does CoinLobster track prediction markets?
Not anymore. Prediction market intelligence (Polymarket and Kalshi whale bets, price gaps, and top traders) now lives at our sister site PredTerminal: predterminal.com. CoinLobster focuses entirely on crypto.
How many coins does CoinLobster track?
CoinLobster tracks the top ~250 coins across 15 exchanges including Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, and more. A free account gets the whale feed live on every one of them, with the last 12 hours of history. Pro adds the whole history and every streamed coin in the terminal.
What is the on-chain whale feed?
Beyond exchange trades, CoinLobster watches large DEX swaps directly on-chain (Uniswap pools on Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum) with repeat-whale tagging that spots wallets that keep coming back. On the whale feed a free account sees these live alongside everything else. Pro adds the whole history and the full top-50 token board. Find it at coinlobster.com/crypto-whales?source=onchain.
Does CoinLobster have an API?
Yes. CoinLobster offers a full REST API for whale data, market data, signals with outcomes, news, and DeFi analytics. See the documentation at coinlobster.com/developers, or the OpenAPI spec at coinlobster.com/openapi.json.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your Account page. Your Pro access continues until the end of your billing period. No questions asked.
